PROGRAM OVERVIEW

At Goat Track Theatre, we believe in nurturing creativity, building confidence, and fostering a love for the performing arts in young minds.

Our program offers a dynamic and age-appropriate curriculum designed to inspire your child's imagination and develop essential skills that go beyond the stage. With experienced instructors, a positive learning environment, and a focus on teamwork and self-expression, our drama classes provide an enriching experience for children aged 5-12.

GTKids is a renowned program that has achieved global recognition. In 2019 GTKids won the Australian What's On For Kids Team and Culture Award and in the same year our Artistic Director and Founder, Andrew Wright travelled to India, Singapore and South Africa to share the program with SIF and Virgin Unite where it received acclaim for it's exceptional quality. The program has an outstanding reputation because of the significant impact it has made on the lives of children around the world.

 BENEFITS

There are numerous benefits in taking part in our drama classes. We can’t wait for you to come along and experience the classes first hand and see for yourself.

  • Grow Courage: Our interactive activities encourage children to express themselves freely and boost their self-assurance in a supportive environment where every individual is celebrated. We encourage being courageous so they will grow their confidence.

  • Enhance Creativity: Through imaginative play, improvisation, and storytelling, we ignite your child's creativity and help them think outside the box. With over 26 units of work, your child will never repeat the same unit.

  • Develop Lifelong Connections: Our experienced instructors guide children in expressing their thoughts and emotions effectively in a fun and engaging space that will foster lifelong friendships. Collaboration is at the heart of our program, as children learn to work together, support one another, and appreciate the value of teamwork.

  • Show Care: Our program promotes empathy, kindness, and respect for others through activities that encourage children to explore different perspectives and emotions. We believe that by showing care and understanding towards others, children become more compassionate world citizens.

Wow! This is seriously the best thing we have ever done for both of our children. Jordan was always going to enjoy it but the real surprise has been Emily and how much she has come out of her shell. Thank you so much for all you do!
— Lisa (Parent)
I like acting on the stage with the props. Everyone is friendly and works together. I think my teachers have got a lot of experience with acting.
— Amy (Student)
The boys came home and said they had a brilliant time. The way you managed the group was compelling. Not many youth organisations seem to have the skill of being able to genuinely engage children. Well done!
— Sarah (Parent)
Xavier is really loving drama this term. He is excited about puppetry and is talking about it afterwards. He also got asked to be part of a presentation at school so his confidence is growing outside of the program too. We are really happy.
