Blood Moon - 2021

When his great Aunt Mia passes away, Nathaniel Pemberton, inherits Pemberton Manor, the most impressive mansion in all of Braham. He plans to move into this new accommodation with his family, however things don’t go to plan and the people who arrive in Braham are not the Pembertons but imposters who will stop at nothing to keep their true identities a secret.

Blood Moon, echoes all of the stylistic nuances of classic gothic tales with its nod to secrets, lies, murders and deceptions. The play began its creative development with a focus on buried lies and how dark family secrets are fashioned over time. The more they dug, the more they discovered and now they want to share this tragedy about living a lie.

“Blood Moon” appeared as one of six plays, that feature as a part of ‘THIS DARK KINGDOM’ - a collection of gothic fairy-tales that are inspired by creative conversations with young people.
